Steller Atelier is a design practice influenced by a multiple of artistic disciplines.

Lauren Steller (Director) has a Master of Architecture (RMIT) and a strong working background with award winning architectural firms – March Studio, Inarc Architects and Crosby Architects.  Lauren also lectures and teaches design at RMIT. In addition to this, Lauren Co-directs The Schoolhouse Studios, an organisation that supports and incubates young design and artistic practices with affordable studio spaces and workshops.

Steller Atelier focuses on human belonging as a catalyst for greater value and preservation in our very disposable society. We love the poetic and infinite play.

“SA’s theory and practice concerns itself with human play, both fixed and free. It celebrates ideas, imagination and invention in aim to reshape the way that we perceive objects, spaces and our environments. All of my projects give me opportunity to diversify my practice and develop new insights that inform my design career. There is no creative project too big or too small for Steller Atelier.”
